PORTUGHES LAUNDERETTE
ARCHITECTURE FOR BRANDS
A laundromat carved out of a monolith.
Using a monochromatic palette of greys, all rendered in different materials with various subtle contrasts in texture and hue, spaces are created via the playful exchange of line and curve.
This language is not only applied in plan, but it’s also found throughout the project in smaller scales found in various details. A bespoke monolithic table defines the main space.
Winner of the Interior Architecture Award for Commercial Buildings at the 2021 MASP Awards.
